Ron Addlestone

A few weeks ago we added Ron Addlestone‘s Charleston & Her Lowcountry to our walls. It is a great mix of images from decades of work from around the city.

His deep connection to Charleston and photography comes through his work and words-

The breezes, feeling the sun, the quiet peace of the old homes, being embraced by oak trees with Spanish moss, and the sound and smell of the ocean and marshes could not be captured; but the visual images partially trigger those other senses.

These photographs are a small attempt to remember the feelings experienced growing up in this special place.
