<p>The mission of Combat Camera is to provide Office of the Secretary of Defense and military commanders with a directed imagery capability in support of wartime operations, worldwide crises, contingencies, and joint exercises. Combat Camera Airmen perform unique and highly specialized missions supporting the full range of military operations in all operational environments. These Airmen maintain qualifications enabling them to operate with airborne forces and special operations forces. Their capabilities range from ground still and video imagery to aerial photography and videography. The imagery featured in this show was captured by the Airmen of the 1st Combat Camera Squadron, Joint Base Charleston, S.C., during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, the humanitarian assistance missions in Haiti, Pakistan and New Orleans, as well as various military exercises across the country. All images have been cleared for release. Images are not for sale.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Who doesn&#8217;t miss the romance of the 1950s? The music of Elvis coming through the radio? The <em><strong>Elvis&#8217; Mystery Kiss!</strong></em> show is here to bring back the memories and the glory of the era. The exhibition is a selection of photographs from Alfred Wertheimer&#8217;s 1956 portfolio of Elvis Presley. The show will have the added love of Barbara Gray, the mystery girl in the iconic image, &#8220;The Kiss;&#8221; and Alanna Nash, the journalist who solved the 55 year photographic mystery. Barbara Gray will also be here to sign her photographs. Alanna Nash will be signing the first edition copies of her book, &#8220;Baby, Let&#8217;s Play House: Elvis Presley and the Women Who Loved Him.&#8221;<br />
The book and photograph will be presented together in a deluxe collector slipcase uniquely designed for this occasion. Only limited number of signed books and prints will be available for purchase during the exhibition.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A few weeks ago we added <a title="Ron Addelstone" href="http://www.ronaddlestone.com/" target="_blank">Ron Addlestone</a>&#8216;s <em>Charleston &amp; Her Lowcountry </em>to our walls. It is a great mix of images from decades of work from around the city.</p>
<p>His deep connection to Charleston and photography comes through his work and words-</p>
<p><em>The breezes, feeling the sun, the quiet peace of the old homes, being embraced by oak trees with Spanish moss, and the sound and smell of the ocean and marshes could not be captured; but the visual images partially trigger those other senses. </em></p>
<p><em>These photographs are a small attempt to remember the feelings experienced growing up in this special place.</em></p>

<p>The show will feature Gerardo&#8217;s newest images which are comprised of nine parts making up one photographic piece.</p>
<p>Gerardo was born in Italy and has studied art both abroad and in the  United States. He&#8217;s won numerous awards for his work including 1st place  from the Charleston Artist Guild and the Charleston City Paper. He&#8217;s  also been recognized during the Piccolo Spoleto Festival and at Waccamaw  Art Shows.</p>
<p>Travel plays a major part in his inspirations and growth as an artist.</p>
<p>We look forward to seeing you at the opening. Refreshments will be served.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Charleston based fashion and wedding photographer Diana Deaver has shown in multiple of our shows. She recently had the opportunity to shoot inside the empty, newly restored Unitarian Church on Archdale Street in Charleston, SC.
